Amazing images and Oysters Adam, but there is not nearly enough there for all of us
Heck it was barely enough for me!
I like that natural archway created by the constant pounding of the waves on that distand island rock. Amazing example of the power of nature.
Who doesn’t love natural bridges?
I love those shots of the water: it looks so inviting!
It’s clearly been a while, if ever, that you dipped a toe into the Northern California ocean! I waded in to my ankles and they were thoroughly numb within a wave or two.
According to http://www.nodc.noaa.gov/dsdt/wtg12.html , which has a nifty chart of average ocean & lake temperatures throughout the US, where we were averages 50 degrees in July. Enticing if you’re a polar bear perhaps
Ah, I know that arch
I have one set of pics of it on a beautiful day like you had, and another on a foggy gray day… 1 year apart.
I love stopping at a random restaurant on Hwy 1 for lunch or dinner, whatever time it happens to be. Those oysters look yummy.
There was nothing random about that oyster stop – the Marshall Store is actually one of the main reasons we do day trips up that way! Oh yeah, and the hiking, birding, and scenic coastline
The Marshall Store’s chowder and oysters are the best I’ve had, and it’s a great funky little place.
Get in touch via email, I want to talk to you about the Split Rock photo, taken in Joshua Tree.
