Montucky: Lupine has a rather long season here, and will be blooming for the next few months in various locations. Strawberries too, come to think of it - they start early, but keep on for a while.

Aullori: Thanks! Phil definitely doesn't know CA weather :) The tat is healing fine, but I have several more sessions before it's done. I'll blog about the whole thing once it's finished, but that's months away still.

Tom: If it was summer here, the blue skies would be replaced by dense fog, and it would have been colder!

Winterwoman: I started doing ebird about 6 months ago - I like it a lot, and it's good to contribute a little bit to "citizen science."

Have you been doing ebird right along, or is this new for you? I keep thinking I should do that... But, after all, I am a reluctant birder...

I like the Beach Strawberry... pretty plant!

I love the lupine shot Adam and your classic GG bridge shots. Very beautiful. Even with a foot of snow on the ground I keep thinking that I'm seeing signs of spring as well. (I think Phil does not know Wa. state weather - I'm glad he's not up on CA either.)

(Hope your tattoo heals up nicely.)

It's so great to see that area restored! I appreciate seeing the great photos!

I looked up my photos of lupines and strawberries: they bloom here in late May. Quite a difference!
