This site is better for photography than many because you just drive along the shore, and the birds don't mind autos nearly as much as they mind bipeds standing about! I'm with the first lady here - those are some amazing shots. I love looking at that pintail too! exellent. It's something the way the avocets seem so relaxed in the photo while the dowitcher looks completely "on task" It's compelling the way you capture these birds.
